Quick and easy fish cake with sour cream

“Fish” cookies (cracker) - 300 gr

Sugar – 200 gr.

Sour cream – 400 - 500 gr

Chocolate - 50 grams (optional for decoration)

To prepare, at first glance, an unusual cake, you will need only 10 minutes and 5 ingredients. It may sound unbelievable, yet this is the case.

In fact, this cake recipe is the simplest and fastest. The result is a delicate dessert. It’s better to make it at night, it will have time to harden and take on the desired shape, and in the morning the whole family will be pleasantly surprised.

To make a quick cake from fish cookies, you need to finely chop the banana into pieces or mash it into puree.

Banana is mixed with sugar and sour cream.

Fish crackers are added to the cream, and everything is mixed.

The cookies should be well soaked in the cream and swell; to do this, we first leave the bowl with the mixture on the table for 15 minutes, and then put it in the refrigerator overnight or for 4-5 hours.


Fish cookie cake is formed in any bowl or cake pan. You need to prepare cling film larger than a bowl.


The film is placed inside, avoiding the formation of cracks. Otherwise, the cake will leak. The prepared mass is poured into this bowl, and the ends of the film are wrapped on top. The form with the preparation is sent to the refrigerator overnight.


In the morning, a wonderful dessert is ready for tea or coffee.


All that remains is to transfer it to a flat dish, turn the bowl over, and remove the film.


Before serving, you can grate the chocolate and sprinkle it on top.
